About me

I have been a Reiki practitioner for a number of years and I have progressed to become attuned to the highest degree of Reiki Master Teacher, thus allowing me to offer formal training to others.

I also extended my Reiki training to include animal Reiki. This came about, as at that time I was a dog groomer. I had dogs being presented to me with anxiety and they found the salon extremely stressful. Whether this was caused by nervousness or past trauma, I found the benefits of Reiki for both the dog and me in the salon resulted in a calmer environment and more enjoyable experience. I had many conversations with owners that couldn't believe I had managed to groom their dog so well, dogs that other groomers had refused to work with and over time those dogs began to love being pampered. I had many dogs that knew they were coming and got excited  before they got close to the salon, they then dragged their owners through the door. 

In addition to Reiki I'm a qualified clinical Hypnotherapist and Meditation Teacher. My experience as a secondary school teacher has enabled me to use my transferable skills, to offer effective individualized care and treatments for all and also using a range of teaching styles to enable effective learning practices.

I strive to continue my own personal development to enhance my knowledge and skillset further by attending seminars, courses and workshops enabling me to stay relevant and providing optimum therapies for all.
